Winnitex and XLANCE® Debut Woven Workwear Collection as Professional Clothing Buyers Raise Expectations for Comfort and Long-Term Performance

First collection brings XLANCE® elastolefin into Winnitex woven fabrics for workwear and uniform programmes where mobility, durability, appearance and repeated care have to coexist.

HONG KONG and VARALLO POMBIA, ITALY, September 2026 — Winnitex and XLANCE® are launching their first woven workwear collection, with its first public presentation at the NSC Safety Congress & Expo in Indianapolis, 14 to 16 September 2026. The collection will be presented at XLANCE® booth 4804.

The launch comes as professional-clothing buyers are putting greater weight on wearer comfort, fit and mobility while continuing to evaluate garments against durability, care performance and lifecycle requirements. For uniform and workwear programmes, the challenge is no longer simply adding stretch. It is making sure that greater freedom of movement can coexist with the conditions the garment is expected to withstand.

The collection combines Winnitex woven fabric development with XLANCE®, a polyolefin-based elastolefin engineered for lower-force comfort stretch and resistance to demanding care conditions. XLANCE® reports that workwear fabrics made with the fibre maintain recovery after 50 industrial laundry cycles under ISO 15797, including washing at 75°C and tunnel drying at 155°C.

Independent research published in Fibers in March 2026 also evaluated woven workwear fabrics containing elastolefin core yarns under repeated industrial washing. The tested fabrics retained high elasticity across repeated maintenance cycles, with one construction evaluated through 100 washes.

Winnitex is applying the technology across woven fabrics for professional-clothing applications including tactical, industrial-laundry and uniform programmes.
